Initial Phone Consultation
Prior to our first appointment, I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. During this call, we will briefly discuss what brings you to therapy and any questions you may have to help you determine if we are a good match. I will also ask you some questions to make an initial determination about whether I have the appropriate experience and resources to meet your needs.
Fees

My fees are competitive with other psychotherapists in the Bay Area and will be discussed during our initial phone contact. Payment is taken at the time of service, and I accept cash, check, Visa, and Mastercard . You will not be charged for a missed appointment if you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled visit.
Insurance
​
I do not accept insurance. I recommend that you contact your plan prior to our first session to ask about your psychotherapy benefits, as many health insurance policies provide some coverage for mental health treatment. I am considered an “out-of-network” provider, which means that your insurance company may reimburse you directly for some portion of the fees you have paid to me. Upon request, I can provide you with a monthly statement that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
